Ann-Marie Johnson Named Business Devt Exec for DHS Operations at Unisys Federal


Ann-Marie Johnson, former vice president of civilian business development at ASI Government, has joined Unisys (NYSE: UIS) as Department of Homeland Security business development executive at the company’s federal business.

Unisys said Monday that Johnson will bring her government information technology and acquisition experience to lead client relationships and foster domain and business growth opportunities under her new role.

She will also support the company’s efforts to expand its work with current DHS clients and establish new business  relationships at additional department components.

“Her experience in the areas of security, agile development, big data and federal procurement mesh perfectly with many of our business priorities, and we look forward to her contribution to serving our clients at the Department of Homeland Security,” said PV Puvvada, president of Unisys U.S. Federal and an inductee into Executive Mosaic‘s Wash100 for 2017.

Johnson previously held increasingly senior positions at Computer Sciences Corp. where she supported various areas including as-a-service business models, big data, climate risk management, governance and system modernization.

She was also industry co-chair of Acquisition Transformation Project for government-industry group American Council for Technology and Industry Advisory Council.

The industry veteran was also a systems analyst at Computer Data Systems, senior information systems consultant at Ogden Government Services and an evaluator at the Government Accountability Office.

Johnson received a bachelor’s degree in economics, French and philosophy from James Madison University and a master’s degree in information systems from George Mason University.
