TYSONS CORNER, VA, May 17, 2017 Chris Pehrson, vice president of strategic development at General Atomics aeronautical systems business, has been named to the advisory council for the Center for a New American Security’s Evolving the Future Force project, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.
CNAS said Monday the new initiative is part of its Defense Strategies and Assessments Program and seeks to explore ways for the U.S. military to develop the needed capabilities of the future joint force to address adversary innovations.
Other members of the council include leaders from Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH), General Dynamics (NYSE: GD), Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT), Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC), Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) and Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory as well as former government and military officials.
