Booz Allen Lands $86M NGO Contract to Support GEOINT Learning System

Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH) has secured a five-year, $86 million contract from the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency and the National Geospatial-Intelligence College to manage a new program that will offer learning systems designed to help address the country’s GEOINT mission requirements.

Booz Allen said Thursday it will provide curriculum and learning content along with performance management, registrar services, learning outreach and faculty development services to support the global geospatial workforce as part of the Learning Management and Advancement Program.

The company added it will assign instructional systems designers, learning strategists, instructional technologists and performance measurement staff to conduct analysis, assessment, design, development, implementation and requirement definition missions as part of the contract.

“Learning services are evolving very quickly, moving away from traditional platform instruction to more informal and on-the-job solutions,” said Bill Wansley, a senior vice president at Booz Allen.

“New and disruptive solutions are now becoming more important to help individuals achieve higher work performance in shorter periods of time.”
