Engineering Research and Consulting Wins $99M IDIQ to Support Air Force’s Seek Eagle Office

Engineering Research and Consulting has won a $99 million contract from the U.S. Air Force to provide analysis, modeling and tools support services to a USAF office responsible for the aircraft-stores certification process.

The Defense Department said Wednesday ERC will conduct analysis, engineering, modeling, simulation and product development, administrative and project management efforts for the military branch’s Seek Eagle program office.

Seek Eagle evaluates weapons, countermeasures and suspension equipment used for internal or external applications and oversees the application and transfer of aircraft-store compatibility information.

The Air Force Test Center at Eglin Air Force Base will obligate $12 million in fiscal 2017 research, development, test and evaluation funds at the time of award.

ERC won the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract via a competitive acquisition that received three bids and is scheduled to finish work by Sept. 22, 2022.
