Cubic’s GATR Technologies Business Builds Foldable Satcom Antenna; Mike Twyman Comments

TYSONS CORNER, VA, March 9, 2017 ” A Cubic Corp. (NYSE: CUB) subsidiary has developed a foldable satellite communications antenna technology that will work with the GATR 950 modem to provide an integrated data transfer platform for sub-meter satcom operations, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.

The company said Tuesday its GATR Technologies business designed the GATR-FLEX antenna with a low size and weight profile as well as the capacity to support transmission of high-power signals.

“The GATR-FLEX terminal is another addition to Cubic Mission Solutions™ portable C4ISR product line that supports the warfighter at the tactical edge,” said Mike Twyman, president of CMS.
