General Atomics Unveils Industry Team for Australia’s RPA Requirement


TYSONS CORNER, VA, Feb. 28, 2017 ” The aeronautical systems business of General Atomics will work with industry partners Raytheon (NYSE: RTN), CAE (NYSE: CAE), Cobham and Flight Data Systems to support the Australian military’s Project Air 7003, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.

General Atomics said Tuesday the team aims to offer the MQ-9 Reaper remotely piloted aircraft and ground control station in efforts to address Australia’s requirement for a medium-altitude long-endurance RPA.
