The company said Sunday it made the two leadership appointments as part of efforts to expand regional presence and help strengthen defense and aerospace market capacities in the Middle East.
“During 2017, we plan to double the business development team working out of our regional headquarters in Dubai and our offices in Riyadh and Abu Dhabi,” said Claude Alber, Rockwell Collins vice president and managing director for Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Kamel previously served as government systems principal sales account manager at Rockwell Collins’ international and service solutions business.
He joined Rockwell Collins after he worked as director of programs at Strata Manufacturing, a management consultant at Oliver Wyman and a flight physics engineer at Airbus.
Bouillaud will oversee a Middle East-based team that is responsible for the defense market in his new position.
The more than 20-year company veteran previously served as strategy director for Rockwell Collins’ operations in the Middle East, Turkey and North Africa and held other roles such as programs manager, liaison manager and sales account manager.
He also worked in managerial positions at Nexter Systems and Bosch Rexroth.
