The Air Force Research Laboratory awarded the modifications to a previously awarded indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract in support of the service branchs Human Interface Research and Technology program, the Defense Department said Thursday.
The program seeks to develop cognitive platforms that will work to provide warfighter decision-making and situational awareness capabilities to help the service branch perform synchronized operations in space, air and cyber space.
The companies will perform work at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and Dayton, Ohio, through May 28, 2020, according to DoD.
