General Dynamics Subsidiary Gets $116M Option on US Military Aircraft Logistics Support Contract


A General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) subsidiary has received a one-year, $115.7 million contract modification to continue to provide logistics support for the C-20 and C-37 aircraft platforms of the U.S. Air Force, Army, Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard.

The Defense Department said Wednesday that General Dynamics’ Gulfstream Aerospace business will perform work in Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Maryland, Virginia, Germany and Italy through Jan. 31, 2018.

The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center will obligate $57.8 million at the time of award from the fiscal 2017 operations and maintenance funds of all four service branches.

C-20 and C-37 planes are built to support airlift missions for high-level government and DoD officials.
