The FBI has awarded a potential seven-year, $100 million blanket purchase agreement to Accenture‘s (NYSE: ACN) federal business for services to modernize existing applications in the bureau’s human resources systems as part of an ongoing digital transformation initiative.
Accenture Federal Servicessaid Thursday it will collaborate with the FBI to update the agency’s Oracle-based (NYSE: ORCL) PeopleSoft Human Capital Management system, decommission certain legacy systems and implement a new employee and supervisor web portal.
AFS will also work with the FBI on efforts to increase usage of data analytics methods.
The FBI aims to cut down administrative-related work for its employees through the partnership with AFS.
