Belcan, a portfolio company of private investment firm AE Industrial Partners, has purchased The Kemtah Group for an undisclosed amount in a strategy to expand the former™s government information technology services business.
Belcan CEO Lance Kwasniewski said in a statement released Thursday the transaction comes five months after it acquired Intercom Consulting & Federal Systems.
Kemtah CEO Steve Wade noted that Belcan™s cybersecurity and software engineering platforms and services will complement and expand Kemtah™s service offerings.
Cincinnati, Ohio-based Belcan provides technical recruiting, IT and engineering support to clients across government, industrial and aerospace sectors.
Albuquerque, New Mexico-based Kemtah has provided managed IT, cybersecurity, mobility, software and application development and other IT support services to commercial and government customers since 1987.
PwC served as a financial adviser to Belcan and AE Industrial Partners in the deal, while Bluestone Capital Partners acted as a financial adviser to Kemtah.
Kirkland & Ellis and Miles & Stockbridge respectively served as legal advisers to Belcan and Kemtah.
