Walden will manage company-wide information security and compliance, data communications and other information technology functions in his new role, Kratos said Tuesday.
“Kevin’s technical capabilities will be an important step forward as we strive for operational, information technology and security excellence in this critical leadership position, ” said Kratos President and CEO Eric DeMarco.
DeMarco added that Walden will oversee technology requirements as the company works to grow operations.
Walden joined Kratos in 2008 and has collaborated with corporate personnel and subsidiaries to drive business intelligence efforts, establish and maintain information systems controls and support the firm’s information technology organization.
He served in the U.S. Navy for six years and previously worked a CIO at Wireless Facilities, technical training support analyst at Pacific Data Products, database support analyst at Ventura Software and chief technology officer at High Technology Solutions, a defense company acquired by Kratos in 2004.
