Air Force Picks 15 Contractors for $660M in Engineering, Construction Support IDIQs


constructionFifteen companies have won positions on a pair of five-year contracts worth up to $660 million combined to design and build new facilities as well as renovate or repair existing infrastructure for the U.S. Air Force.

The Air Force picked 12 companies to compete for engineering, design and construction work in the U.S. east region under a potential $330 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract and selected 11 firms for work in the central region under a separate contract valued at $300 million, the Defense Department said Tuesday.

The 772nd enterprise sourcing squadron at Joint Base Lackland in Texas received 23 bids for the east region contract and 21 offers for the central region award.

Both multiple-award, firm-fixed-price contracts will run through Dec. 7, 2021.
