5 Firms Get $200M in Contract Modifications Under Air Force Cyber Tech Devt Program


cyberwarfareThe U.S. Air Force has awarded five companies contract modifications worth $200 million combined to help the military branch develop, prototype, demonstrate, evaluate or transition cyber technology platforms.

Work will occur at various contractor facilities in Alabama,  New York and Virginia through Jan. 31, 2019, the Defense Department said Thursday.

The modifications were awarded to these companies:

  • Assured Information Security
  • CACI International (NYSE: CACI)
  • Global InfoTek
  • Harris (NYSE: HRS)
  • Radiance Technologies

Chantilly, Virginia-based CACI’s national security solutions business is also listed as an awardee on the program.

CACI bought the NSS business from L-3 Communications (NYSE: LLL) for $550 million cash in February as part of a push to expand into the intelligence and enterprise information technology markets.
