Army Kicks Off $6B HR Support Contract Bids

workforceThe Army Contracting Command has issued a request for proposals on a potential 10-year, $6.09 billion contract vehicle for personnel life cycle support services to the U.S. Army, the Defense Department and other federal agencies.

The multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract will have a one five-year base period of performance and five 12-month options, the Army said Friday in a FedBizOpps solicitation notice.

The branch plans to use a “best value tradeoff” sourcing method to evaluate and select offers from interested vendors.

The Army also expects to award 12 to 16 spots under the vehicle, including at least six small business set-aside positions, and winning contractor teams can vie for human resource PLS task orders that will be performed in various locations within and outside the continental U.S., the notice stated.

Responses to the RFP are due Dec. 20.
