CACI Lands $93M ICE Tactical Comms Support Contract; Ken Asbury Comments

 CACI International (NYSE: CACI) has received a potential $93 million prime contract to engineer and maintain tactical communications systems for the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency.

The company said Monday it will perform system lifecycle development and maintenance activities such as design, implementation and testing as well as disposition activities in accordance with the Department of Homeland Security‘s system engineering lifecycle.

CACI will also work to maintain more than 600 infrastructure sites across the U.S. and its territories that support portable and mobile radios of ICE personnel.

Ken Asbury, CACI president and CEO, said the company aims to continue supporting ICE’s tactical communications as well as DHS’ national security missions.

The contract will run for four and a half years and represents expanded work for the company’s communications business group.
