PAE has secured a potential four-year, $66 million task order for support services to the Naval Expeditionary Forensics and Biometrics program under the U.S. Navy‘s SeaPort-e professional services contract vehicle.
Arlington, Virginia-based PAE said Wednesday it will provide shipboard services to the Naval Surface Warfare Center’s Dahlgren division at locations inside and outside the contiguous U.S. to help the service branch’s weapons control and integration department meet forensics and biometrics requirements.
“The Naval Expeditionary Forensics and Biometrics program serves an integral role in the military services’ identity management process by managing the collection, analysis and documentation of evidence, ” said John Heller, PAE CEO.
Heller added the company’s A-T Solutions business acquired in June 2015 has supported the mission for more than five years will continue to aid the systematic application of forensic exploitation procedures around the globe.
The company’s services under the task order will span software engineering, DNA analysis and inert ordnance examination and documentation to assist the Defense Department’s forensic exploitation processes in expeditionary locations.
