TYSONS CORNER, VA, Aug. 25, 2016 ” Battelle will work with a subsidiary of Astrotech to build the final prototype of a chemical detection platform under the third phase of the Defense Department‘s Next Generation Chemical Detector multi-sample identifier technology maturation and risk reduction program, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.
Astrotech said Tuesday its 1st Detect Corp. business will integrate OEM-1000NG core analyzer systems with Battelle’s NGCD prototype and conduct tests on the chemical detection tool in efforts to drive the program toward the engineering and manufacturing development phase.
