Beltsville, Maryland-based government contractor ASRC Federal has acquired Vistronix Intelligence & Technology Solutions for an undisclosed sum in a push to diversify the former’s portfolio of government services.

Arctic Slope Regional Corp., ASRC Federal’s parent company, announced the acquisition Wednesday and said Vistronix will operate as an ASRC Federal subsidiary.

“This acquisition expands our customer footprint in the intelligence community, and in key, select civilian and DoD markets, while strengthening discriminating capabilities in the areas of advanced analytics, signal intelligence, cybersecurity and large-scale data processing, ” said Mark Gray, ASRC Federal president and CEO and an inductee into Executive Mosaic’s Wash100 for 2016.

Reston, Virginia-based Vistronix Intelligence & Technology Solutions develops software and provides platforms and services in such areas as signals processing, cloud, advanced analytics and large-scale data management.

ASRC said Vistronix operates with at least 700 employees and provides enterprise platforms to federal agencies in the field of national security and mission assurance for more than two decades.

In December 2014, Vistronix purchased Agency Consulting Group,  Objective Solutions and ExaTech Solutions in an effort to grow Vistronix’s portfolio of information technology products and services for the intelligence sector.

Vistronix’s acquisition comes nine months after ASRC Federal bought IT services provider Data Networks Corp. in a push to expand its position in the federal IT market.
