The Defense Department said Friday the contract covers qualitative and quantitative analysis support for the commandant of the Marine Corps, deputy commandant programs and resources, Joint Staff, Office of the Secretary of Defense, the Department of the Navy and other HQMC senior leaders.
Booz Allen will also analyze and evaluate plans, programs and budgets related to published fiscal guidance as well as DoD and Marine Corps strategic objectives, guidance and policies.
The base period is slated to run through July 14, 2017 and work could extend through January 14, 2022, if all options are exercised.
The Marine Corps Installation Command will obligate $6 million at the time of award from the Navy’s fiscal 2016 operations and maintenance funds.
The command received two bids for the contract through an online-based competitive acquisition process.
