Rockwell Collins Lands $83M Air Force Range Instrumentation IDIQ


Rockwells Collins logo_GovConWireRockwell Collins (NYSE: COL) has received a potential five-year, $83 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract from the U.S. Air Force to help design and test a common range integrated instrumentation system.

The Defense Department said Monday the company will perform modification and integration work on the system as well as block upgrade tasks in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

CRIIS will be built to provide time, space and position information and systems evaluation data for military customers to address multi-platform testing requirements.

Contract work is scheduled to occur through April 18, 2021, and the contracting activity is the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center.
