DHS Posts RFP for $395M Cybersecurity Support Services Contract


dhs-cyberThe Department of Homeland Security seeks bids on a potential seven-year, $395 million contract for support services to a DHS facility that is built to monitor cyber threats and adversarial activities across the department’s enterprise.

DHS is looking for a contractor to help run its Security Operations Center and will accept proposals from interested vendors through May 13, according to a FedBizOpps solicitation notice published Friday.

The program will have a one-year base ordering period and an additional six one-year options.

A scope of work statement says a chosen contractor will support the following SOC functional areas:

  • Program Management and Control
  • Operations Services
  • Service Delivery Management
  • Architecture, Engineering, Operations and Maintenance
  • Cybersecurity Communications and Coordination
  • Acquisition Support

The contract also includes network monitoring, vulnerability assessment, security incident response, intelligence analysis and sharing and continuity of operations services.
