Marines Eye Boeing Insitu’s Blackjack UAV Integration With Manned Flight Operations


RQ-21A-BlackjackTYSONS CORNER, VA, April 4, 2016 ” An unmanned aerial vehicle built by Boeing‘s (NYSE: BA) Insitu subsidiary has flown in airspace that also accommodates manned aircraft, ExecutiveBiz reported Friday.

The U.S. Marine Corps reported March 25 the Marine Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Squadron 2 flew an  RQ-21A Blackjack in Class D airspace above Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point in efforts to integrate manned and unmanned flight operations.
