The service branch awarded the cost-plus-award-fee contract through a competitive procurement with three proposals received, the Defense Department said Thursday.
The service branch uses the 96th Test Wing at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida to test, evaluate and validate air-delivered weapon systems, command-and-control platforms, navigation tools and other equipment used by the Air Force Special Operations Command in its missions.
The company will perform work at three air force bases in Florida, Ohio and New Mexico through March 31, 2018, according to DoD.
