Progeny Systems to Provide Sustainment, Follow-On Support for Navy DON TRACKER Program


U.S. NavyProgeny Systems has secured a potential five-year, $45.4 million contract to provide sustainment and follow-on support for the Department of the Navy Tasking, Records and Consolidated Knowledge Enterprise Repository system.

The U.S. Navy awarded the sole-source, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract under phase three of the Small Business Innovation Research program, the Defense Department said Thursday.

The cost-plus-fixed-fee contract also covers personnel systems updates for the DON TRACKER platform.

DON TRACKER is a Web-based, single enterprise platform that seeks to replace legacy records and task management applications of the Navy and the U.S. Marine Corps.

Work will occur in Virginia through February 2021, according to DoD.

The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command will obligate $250, 000 in fiscal 2016 operations and maintenance funds at the time of award of the initial task order.

Progeny Systems is a Manassas, Va.-based small business that works to provide information systems systems, manufacturing, research and development and systems integration support for government, defense and commercial clients.
