According to the request for proposal issued on SAM.gov Tuesday, the firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract will cover the procurement of transponded bandwidth capacity and end-to-end managed services encompassing different frequency bands for satellite communication, as well as wireless and cellular services. The contract also includes access to leasing or purchasing agreements for various service models and managed services for global connectivity across five geographic regions using multi-orbit and multi-band satellite systems.
The selected vendor will also be tasked with supplying high-capacity and mobile spread spectrum services and establishing global internet protocol backhaul from commercial gateways to the Marine Corps Enterprise Network, or MCEN, and the Department of Defense Information Network, or DoDIN, through government entry points.
The contract also requires program and bandwidth management support, analysis tools and SATCOM network monitoring tools.
Interested contractors can submit their responses until April 30.
