Toni Townes-Whitley Leading SAIC’s Growth
Townes-Whitley, who became CEO of SAIC in 2023, is overseeing the execution of the company’s multiyear enterprise growth strategy. Unveiled in April 2024, the strategy offers a multi-phase approach that would build the company’s portfolio and go-to-market approach and improve the brand.
In 2024, SAIC booked significant contract awards, including a $232 million deal to provide systems engineering and IT modernization services to the U.S. Army.
The Reston, Virginia-headquartered technology integrator also secured a $494 million Safety and Mission Assurance Engineering Contract III with NASA and a $229 million IT support contract with North American Aerospace Defense Command and U.S. Northern Command in 2024.
Townes-Whitley is steering SAIC toward sustainable growth, an effort that is already showing positive results. Her exemplary leadership skills have made her worthy of her second Wash100 Award.
Congratulations to Townes-Whitley and the SAIC team.
