WidePoint has completed the integration of IT Authorities as an operating subsidiary, allowing the technology company to expand its IT capabilities and positioning it as a full federal service integrator.
“This integration further broadens and enhances our service capabilities, reinforcing our commitment to differentiating WidePoint’s services and positioning us to win clients away from our competitors and strengthens our position to better secure new government contracts and emerging opportunities,” Jin Kang, president and CEO of WidePoint, said in a statement published Monday.
In October 2021, WidePoint announced that it acquired managed service provider ITA.
ITA CEO Jason Caras said he will serve as a senior vice president at WidePoint to further drive innovation and support customers.
Expanded IT Service Portfolio
With the full ITA integration, WidePoint now offers an expanded portfolio of IT services, including managed IT services, network operations center or NOC as a service, IT outsourcing, consulting and cloud platforms.
The Fairfax, Virginia-based company develops and offers identity and access management tools designed to meet federal customers’ stringent security requirements of federal clients.
WidePoint uses its proprietary Telecom Expense Management, or TEM, platform to deliver end-to-end telecom lifecycle management to government and enterprise clients to help improve service efficiency.
