West 4th Strategy Wins Spot on $1.8B DOD PRISM Contract’s Personnel & Readiness Pool

The Department of Defense has awarded West 4th Strategy a position on the potential five-year, $1.8 billion Personnel and Readiness Infrastructure Support Management, or PRISM, contract vehicle to provide critical support services for DOD.

The IT services provider said the award is for the Personnel and Readiness pool of the PRISM contract.

Gregg Melanson, chief growth officer of West 4th, said the company is proud to be part of the team that plays a role in improving warfighters’ readiness and supporting national defense objectives.

“The PRISM contract is a critical program designed to increase readiness and meet DOD mission requirements,” noted Melanson.

What Is PRISM?

PRISM is a multiple award task order contract, or MATOC, designed to support the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness, or OUSD P&R, its directorates and strategic mission partners by providing services meant to meet the demands associated with a global threat and security environment.

The contract has a one-year base period and four option years and covers contract program management; engineering and information security; logistics, procurement and life cycle services; and training development and delivery.

Strategic partners for the PRISM contract’s P&R pool include the Office of the Executive Director; Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Readiness; Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Manpower and Reserve Affairs; Air Force major commands; military branches including the U.S. Navy and U.S. Space Force; and all combatant commands.

In February, the General Services Administration issued a solicitation for the contract vehicle.
