Sarah Lord, a 20-year government contracting professional, has been named president of global protection and security engineering services provider System High.
The Chantilly, Virginia-based company said Thursday Lord will lead its expansion efforts while achieving its strategic roadmap and prioritizing innovation, employee advancement and customer satisfaction.
Sarah Lord’s System High Career
Lord held crucial leadership roles throughout her 15-year tenure at the company. Her vast experience and dedication to System High’s mission, vision and values, combined with her ability to cultivate a collaborative environment and develop sustainable operational processes, were keys to her being appointed president of the company.
Lord joined System High in 2009 as a human resource manager. After four years, she was elevated to chief human capital officer and served in that role from 2012 to 2019. She most recently served as chief operating officer prior to her latest promotion. As COO, Lord helped enhance operations, boost organizational performance and cultivate employee growth.
Before her stint with System High, Lord worked as a business administration executive at Syracuse Research Corp. where she helped drive the company’s growth.
Lord succeeds Rob Howe as president. Howe will still serve as System High CEO and board member.
“Since Sarah joined System High in 2009, she has helped grow the organization,” stated Howe. “Sarah brings insight, unique perspective and innovative approaches to all she does.”
