Kevin Kennedy, a retired U.S. Air Force lieutenant general, has been appointed vice president of defense strategy and warfighting integration at ManTech.
The artificial intelligence technology services provider said Tuesday Kennedy will oversee the delivery of cybersecurity, electronic warfare and command, control, communications, computers, cyber, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance, or C5ISR, services to the Department of Defense.

Kennedy brings over 34 years of experience in national security with a deep understanding of strategic planning, information operations, aircraft operations, cybersecurity, intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance and EW.
The senior executive leader served as the commander of the 16th Air Force, also known as Air Forces Cyber before joining the public sector. He led a team of over 49,000 personnel tasked with delivering multi-source ISR capabilities and resources worldwide.
Kennedy also served as director of Operations at the Cyber Command, where he oversaw its operations from planning to coordination while providing support to the Strategic Command, European Command and Space Command.
The ManTech executive also served in various leadership roles while with the Air Force. Some of the positions he held include assistant deputy chief information officer, commander of the 28th Bomb Wing of the Combat Command, director of the Chief of Staff of the Air Force Strategic Studies Group and vice commander of the 379th Air Expeditionary Wing under the Central Command.
