Comtech said Traud, who succeeds John Ratigan, is driving the company’s comprehensive transformation.
“We are implementing a comprehensive set of initiatives to better position Comtech for the future including improving operational discipline, streamlining operations, supporting profitable growth initiatives, undertaking a broad review of strategic alternatives and strengthening the capital structure,” Traud shared.
Ken Traub’s 30-Year Career
The new Comtech chief executive will build on his more than three decades of experience as a CEO, chairman, director, investor and consultant in numerous public companies.
Traub’s career includes time serving as managing partner of Delta Value Advisors and Raging Capital, president and CEO of Ethos Management and American Bank Note Holographics, and exeutive vice president and chief financial officer of Voxware.
He joined the Comtech board on Oct. 31, 2024, and became its executive chairman on Nov. 27.
