Jonathan Peppard, an industry veteran with 27 years of experience in capture management, program management and business development, has been appointed vice president of strategic capture at Akima.
The information technology company said Thursday Peppard will oversee its expansion by leading efforts to capture new opportunities within the federal sector. This includes utilizing Akima’s technology services portfolio to drive growth and maximize gross margins.
Some of the services Peppard is responsible for are digital engineering, digital modernization, generative artificial intelligence, robotic process automation, enterprise-scale live, virtual and constructive, or LVC, training and command, control, computers, communications, cyber, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance, or C5ISR.
Jonathan Peppard’s Career Achievements
Before joining Akima, Peppard served as director of strategic capture at CACI International. He also worked at Inmarsat Government as a senior business development executive and at ASI Government as a senior account executive.
The Akima executive also served as a senior capture management executive at Raytheon and program management executive at Lockheed Martin. The former military officer also served in the U.S. Army for over eight years.
