BAE Secures $1.2B Air Force Contract Modification for Engineering Services

BAE Systems has landed a $1.2 billion contract modification from the U.S. Air Force for continued provision of engineering services.

BAE Systems as ICBM Weapons Integrator

The Department of Defense said Thursday the modification to the initial $1.94 billion contract, raises the total potential value to $3.13 billion. The award is intended to extend the work provided by BAE Systems’ Technology Solutions & Services involving systems engineering, integration and program management support for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile, or ICBM, weapon system integration.

The Rockville, Maryland-based defense contractor will conduct services at Hill Air Force Base in Utah. The contract is anticipated to be completed by July 31, 2027. 

The Air Force Nuclear Weapon Center, as the contracting activity, will allocate the necessary amount from fiscal 2025 operation and maintenance funds, research and development funds, as well as production funds.
