Agile Defense Announces IntelliBridge Acquisition

IT services provider Agile Defense has closed its acquisition of IntelliBridge to expand its technology capabilities and integrated platforms in support of national security, defense and federal civilian missions.

In a statement published Tuesday, Rick Wagner, CEO of Agile Defense and a six-time Wash100 awardee, said the acquisition enhances its team with the addition of IntelliBridge’s tech capabilities and talent and accelerates its ability to deliver platforms to support customers’ missions.

“I am equally excited about the incredible opportunities this unification will unlock for our growing workforce, paving the way for greater innovation, collaboration, and unparalleled professional development,” Wagner added.

Enlightenment Capital-backed Agile Defense has over 2,000 employees worldwide and provides data analytics, digital transformation and cybersecurity platforms and services for the Department of Defense and federal civilian sectors.

Established in 2006, IntelliBridge is a digital transformation company focused on providing mission-based technology for customers across the federal civilian, intelligence, homeland security and law enforcement sectors.

The McLean, Virginia-based company is also backed by Enlightenment Capital and is known for its Technology and Innovation Group and customer-first approach to addressing clients’ mission support, intelligence and tech challenges.
