Executive Mosaic Recognizes Top GovCon Change-Makers With 2025 Wash100 Class

The Wash100 Award, the longest running recognition of current and future success in the government contracting industry, has revealed its 2025 class of winners. These 100 executives are superstars in the eclectic, competitive and talented industrial base and federal sector. Together, these government officials and industry leaders usher technological progress, decide acquisition imperatives and manifest rapid modernization.

Executive Mosaic has presented the Wash100 Award since its creation in 2014. The company is the preeminent events, networking and media organization in the GovCon industry and Capital region.

“The 2025 Wash100 Award shines a spotlight on the leaders who are redefining what’s possible in the GovCon industry, especially during what we’re sure will be a year of major transformation in the sector,” said Jim Garrettson, who leads Executive Mosaic as CEO and founded the award.

“As always, this year’s recipients embody the qualities that drive progress: bold leadership, inventive thinking and an unyielding dedication to excellence. These 100 visionaries are not only shaping today’s government and industry landscapes but are also laying the groundwork for a more innovative and resilient future. We are proud to celebrate their accomplishments and the transformative impact they will make in the year ahead,” Garrettson added.

How the List Is Formed

Wash100 recipients are decisive change-makers who exemplify stunning leadership, vision, innovation, reliability and achievement. EM chooses the list of awardees based on informed reporting and scouting as well as input from the public—nominations are accepted for months leading up to decision-making. For this latest iteration, the organization received a staggering amount of submissions, more than any prior year.

This year’s celebrated individuals hail from different aspects of the GovCon dynamic: 67 percent are from industry, 26 percent are from government and seven percent are from other corners, like the increasingly important private equity contingent. Together, they comprise the whole picture of GovCon in 2025.

EM also works to ensure that new entrants and voices are recognized. The 2025 list welcomes 37 new names to the Wash100 who have never before been awarded. We are excited to observe their impact as the year progresses.
