Shannon White Named Guidehouse Defense & Security Segment Leader in Series of Exec Moves

Guidehouse has appointed Shannon White, a partner at the consulting firm, as head of its defense and security segment, effective Jan. 1.

The McLean, Virginia-based advisory firm said Monday Chris Clarke, a partner, will succeed White as head of Guidehouse’s homeland security and law enforcement practice while Bryan Miller, also a partner, will lead the global consultancy’s defense, diplomacy and intel practice.

Shannon White

White, most recently the practice leader for homeland security and law enforcement, brings to the role her track record of advancing innovation and expertise in the national security sectors. She will oversee the delivery of mission-critical platforms to help clients address defense and security challenges.

She succeeds John Saad, who has been appointed president of Guidehouse.

“Shannon is a passionate leader whose experience will be invaluable as we continue to support purpose-driven initiatives to preserve security across the U.S.,” Saad stated. “Her strategic vision and expertise will accelerate Guidehouse’s growth through transformative engagements with our clients in the defense, national security, and public sectors.”

Chris Clarke

Clarke brings to Guidehouse’s homeland security and law enforcement practice over two decades of experience working with clients on complex challenges, focusing on financial transformation and risk management.

He has worked across the U.S. Intelligence Community and the departments of Homeland Security and Justice overseeing hundreds of consultants to facilitate service delivery.

Bryan Miller

Miller will lead Guidehouse’s defense, diplomacy and intel practice, which was formed after the consulting firm combined the defense and intelligence and diplomacy and development practices to drive growth and align with the clients’ evolving requirements.

He most recently served as head of the firm’s defense and intelligence practice. He has over two decades of experience delivering supply chain, strategy and transformation programs and support to the U.S. government.

“This new structure strengthens our capabilities and provides a more cohesive approach to serving these interconnected client missions,” noted Saad.

“Chris and Bryan are remarkable leaders with unmatched expertise in navigating the complexities of public safety and national security,” the Guidehouse president added.
