Sean Cohan Named Integral Federal VP

Sean Cohan, a veteran IT executive, has joined Integral Federal as a vice president.

He announced his appointment in a LinkedIn post published Friday.

In this capacity, Cohan works with the company’s business development teams to drive growth, assists with setting the firm’s strategic direction and supports the critical missions of customers within the Department of Defense.

According to his profile on the professional networking platform, Cohan most recently served as VP of the technology solutions group at Pragmatics, where he provided direction for the company’s subject matter experts and oversaw the delivery of consulting services in support of clients.

Software Development Experience

Cohan has over 25 years of experience in software development.

In 2004, he joined Pragmatics as a software architect for the company’s Joint Operation Planning and Execution System project, also called JOPES. During his time at the company, he advanced the adoption of Agile development practices.

He served as a senior software consultant at several tech companies, including Software Performance Systems, SITEL Technology Services, Science Applications International Corp., NASD Regulation and Texas Instruments.

Earlier in his career, he was a software engineer at Hughes Aircraft and a computer programmer at American Systems Corp. 

Integral Federal’s Acquisition of Pragmatics

His appointment comes following Integral Federal’s acquisition of Pragmatics.

In mid-November, the McLean, Virginia-based company closed its purchase of IT services provider Pragmatics to improve its capability to provide mission-critical operations support, drive innovation and strengthen customer growth.

Founded in 1998, Integral Federal provides intelligence, security and advanced digital platforms and services for defense, intelligence and civilian agencies.
