Raytheon, an RTX business, has received a contract modification worth $946.4 million from the U.S. Army for Patriot production hardware, software and services.
Raytheon’s Contract Scope
The Department of Defense said Monday the project will be done at the company’s Andover, Massachusetts facility until its expected completion date of Dec. 31, 2029.
The Army’s Contracting Command in Redstone Arsenal, Alabama will serve as the contracting activity and will allocate $463.8 million from fiscal 2025 foreign military sales funds of Romania at the time of the award.
RTX secured a $156 million fixed-price-incentive contract from the Army for the delivery of Patriot missile components to Romania in October 2023. This includes spares, components and ground support equipment. The company was also awarded a potential $1.2 billion contract in March 2023 to provide the Army with Patriot missile system fire units.
