Kenneth Traub, a 30-year industry veteran, has been unanimously elected executive chairman of the board of directors of Comtech Telecommunications.
The global technology company said Traub, who also serves as senior executive of Comtech, will bring extensive experience in driving strategic, financial, operational and governance improvements to enhance shareholder value to his new role.
Kenneth Traub’s 30-Year Career
Traub was previously a member of the board of directors of American Rare Earths, DSP Group, Intermolecular, MRV Communications, Immersion, IDW Entertainment, Castle Metals, Athersys, Vitesse Semiconductor, Xyratex, MIPS Technologies, Tix Corp, iPass and Phoenix Technologies.
He was managing partner at Delta Value Group and Raging Capital Management and general partner at Rosemark Capital. Traub also served as president and CEO of Ethos Management and as CEO, president and director at American Bank Note Holographics.
Traub cofounded Voxware in 1994 and served as its executive vice president VP and and chief financial officer. He started his career in 1989 at Trans-Resources, where he was VP of finance for six years.

Bruce Crawford to Serve as Lead Independent Director
In related news, Bruce Crawford, a retired military lieutenant general, has been appointed lead independent director at Comtech. The former chief information officer of the U.S. Army also served as senior VP of strategic development/growth & sales and chief of innovation at Jacobs.
