Digital technology company SMX has promoted IT industry leader Joseph Lavezzo as vice president of federal civilian.
In a LinkedIn post announcing his promotion, Lavezzo expressed his appreciation to his team, leadership, clients and delivery partners and past and current mentors who have guided him in his career journey.
He most recently served as senior director of federal civilian at SMX, where he leveraged his expertise in enterprise information systems to advance federal projects and drive service sales.
According to his LinkedIn profile, Lavezzo’s industry career included time as director of enterprise analytics at Datastrong, director of operations at Computer Enterprises, IT manager at Booz Allen Hamilton and senior application developer at A1 Internet Services.
The certified Project Management Professional spent three years as a senior enterprise delivery manager at the Internal Revenue Service.
