CGI has appointed Celso Puente, a marketing communications executive in the federal market, as vice president of global analyst relations.
Puente announced his new role at the IT consulting firm in a LinkedIn post published Friday.
Celso Puente’s Career Background
According to his profile on the professional networking platform, the analyst relations leader was VP of integrated marketing at CGI before taking on the new role.
In 2022, Puente joined CGI Federal as VP of marketing and communications and was responsible for helping the business expand in cyber, cloud, space and intelligence automation sectors.
The George Mason University graduate held senior marketing and strategic communications positions at several companies, including Amentum, Unisys and Booz Allen Hamilton.
He also served as a senior marketing and events manager at UNICOM Government, a marketing and communications specialist at Fannie Mae and a marketing manager at Ariel Research and the American Society of Addiction Medicine.
