BAE Secures $656M Army Bradley Vehicle Production Contract

BAE Systems’ land and armaments business segment has received a U.S. Army contract worth approximately $656.2 million to produce M2A4 and M7A4 Bradley infantry fighting vehicles for the military branch.

The Department of Defense said Wednesday Army Contracting Command at Detroit Arsenal in Michigan will obligate funds and determine work locations with each order.

Work on the fixed-price-incentive contract is expected to be completed on Nov. 30, 2027.

In September, the company secured a $121.4 million contract modification from the Army to manufacture M2A4 and M7A4 Bradley vehicles from inducted legacy source variants.

The Bradley Fighting Vehicle is designed to provide enhanced mobility, survivability and lethality to the U.S. Army and its allies in critical combat operations.
