USAF Seeks Proposals for Modeling & Simulation Support Services

The Department of the Air Force is seeking industry offers for modeling and simulation support services under the Air Force Modeling and Simulation Support Services, or AFMS3, 3.0 contract.

According to the request for proposal published on SAM.gov Sunday, the single-award indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract is worth up to $972 million and covers support services for the Air Force Agency for Modeling and Simulations, or AFAMS.

Task Order Scope

The award will provide for engineering and integration support services, including  highly specialized operational and technical assistance and expertise for the development, maintenance, sustainment and modernization of M&S capabilities. The selected contractor is also expected to demonstrate expertise in M&S architecture to ensure interoperability, maintain cybersecurity, support courseware development and enhance training systems and simulations.

Interested parties may send in their proposals no later than Jan. 31, 2025.

In 2020, Science Applications International Corp., or SAIC, secured the Air Force Modeling and Simulation Support Services, or AFMS3, 2.0 contract valued at a potential $737 million. The deal covered the implementation, integration and development of modeling and simulation. It required SAIC to aid in the development of policies, architectures and standards that support emerging technologies.
