Tria Federal, a Sagewind Capital-backed technology and advisory services provider, has acquired technology firm Softrams to better support the critical missions of federal health and public safety agencies.
Customers of Softrams, which provides human-centered digital services and system modernization services to federal agencies, include the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and the departments of Homeland Security, Defense and Labor, Tria Federal said Tuesday.
The merger is expected to result in federal health and public safety services powered by digital transformation capabilities and scalable software engineering and provide customers with deep subject matter expertise in mission-critical systems, agile engineering, cloud services and comprehensive data management and analytics.
Reorganization at Tria Federal
With the acquisition, Tria Federal has begun reorganizing its structure as it prepares to operate with three business units in 2025, namely Military and Veteran Health, Public Health and Public Safety. Executive Vice President Diana Ceban and EVP Katie Webb will lead the Military and Veteran Health and Public Health units, respectively, while the Public Safety head will be identified in the coming weeks.
Softrams’ executives will join the Public Health business unit. Murali Mallina, chief technology officer at Softrams, will become the unit’s senior vice president of technology and Softram Chief Strategy Officer Bryce Golwalla will become SVP of mission enablement.
As part of the reorganization, Tria Federal will establish five service lines that will offer technology and advisory services focused on results management, integrated health optimization, next-generation analytics and data management, financial transformation and digital modernization.
“Softrams brings exceptional technical capabilities and customer relationships that complement our existing strengths across multiple agencies,” said Tria Federal CEO Tim Borchert. “Together, we will deliver both innovative products and comprehensive services that help government agencies work faster, grow smarter, and stay nimble in the face of change.”
