Robert Conrad, a space industry executive, has been elevated to president of Kepler Communications US, a subsidiary of Kepler Communications.
The Wilmington, Delaware-based company said Tuesday Conrad’s promotion came after serving as vice president of business development for almost two years. He will now oversee the expansion of Kepler operations in the United States. The executive will also create a team responsible for the growth of the satellite telecommunications provider’s data relay network in the U.S. federal market.
Robert Conrad’s Career
Conrad has 30 years of industry experience in the government and commercial space industry. He specializes in business development, capture management and system engineering, and has helped companies boost their organizational growth and profitability.
The strategy and operational executive was VP of business development at SpaceLink before joining Kepler. He also held various executive positions at LJT & Associates, including chief operations officer, president and CEO. Conrad also previously worked at TSI Telsys as VP of business development and at AlliedSignal Technical Services as deputy director of space services and system engineering manager.
