Paul Toledo, a nearly two-decade veteran in the space and defense industries, has joined Leidos as vice president of space systems division, the executive announced in a LinkedIn post Monday.
Toledo spent almost seven years at Northrop Grumman before moving to the Reston, Virginia-based IT services provider. At the defense contractor, he held senior management positions focused on program management in support of the F-35 Lightning II and RQ-4 Global Hawk programs.
The new Leidos division VP also worked as a senior manager at Viasat, responsible for the development and deployment of ultra-high frequency satellite communications programs.
Notably, Toledo spent 12 years, or the majority, of his career working at Lockheed Martin. He joined the defense company in 2005 as an embedded systems engineer and was promoted to the role of system engineering manager of GPS III spacecraft assembly, integration, test and launch operations in 2013. His most recent post at Lockheed was program manager of strategic IRADs for engineering and technology.
