Lisa Wilkinson, a nearly two-decade aerospace and defense industry veteran, has been appointed chief human resources officer at SOS International.
Wilkinson will leverage her 25 years of HR experience and oversee SOSi’s workforce planning and development, talent acquisition and retention, learning and development and employee engagement, the Reston, Virginia-based private defense and government services firm said Monday.
She will also be responsible for compensation and benefits, performance management, diversity and inclusion programs and compliance.

The HR executive has been in the A&D industry for almost 17 years. Wilkinson was most recently with SES Space & Defense as vice president for people and culture. In this role, she established a people-focused culture that boosted performance, lowered voluntary turnover and enhanced organizational value.
Wilkinson worked for Leonardo DRS for 15 years before she moved to SES through the acquisition of DRS Global Enterprise Solutions, a division of the company where she served as senior director of human resources. As the executive lead, she was instrumental in integrating DRS GES into SES.
