SAIC’s Vincent DiFronzo Named Executive Mosaic 4×24 DOD Group Chairman

Vincent DiFronzo, senior vice president of SAIC‘s Air Force, Combatant Command and Department of Defense business unit, has been selected by Executive Mosaic to serve as chairman of the DOD Group for the 4×24 Executive Leadership Series.

The 4×24 Executive Leadership program is a series of networking and dinner events for senior government contracting professionals. The program fosters collaboration between the public and private sectors, builds meaningful partnerships and provides a platform for GovCon’s decision makers to share their insights and expertise.

This marks DiFronzo’s second year at the helm of the DOD Group. As chairman, DiFronzo looks forward to engaging in discussions with government leaders to foster transformation in the Pentagon.

“This forum is outstanding for getting a rich exchange of ideas between our government leaders and industry executives,” DiFronzo said. “It really helps us all stay in step with the challenges facing DOD and their shifting priorities — especially with the evolving complexity of the national security environment globally and the desire for DOD to move at an accelerated pace. This will be an especially interesting year with the change in administration.”

In his current position at SAIC, DiFronzo oversees several programs, including command and control, information technology, research and development, engineering and more. Earlier in his career, he was the assistant vice president of Alion Science and Technology and a senior program manager at Scientific Research Corp. He also served for nearly 30 years in the U.S. Air Force.

“We have seen unprecedented levels of collaboration between the Department of Defense and the defense industrial base in recent years as the government pursues better, faster, more capable technologies for the nation’s warfighters,” said Jim Garrettson, CEO of Executive Mosaic.

“As we head into a new 4×24 season, we’re thrilled to have Vinnie back as chair of our DOD Group that we know will focus on advancing the essential dialogue of public-private partnership in support of the most critical federal missions. Vinnie is a seasoned leader with a wealth of military and industry expertise, and we thank him for his continued leadership within our 4×24 program,” added Garrettson.

Executive Mosaic congratulates DiFronzo on his selection and is eager to see where he takes the DOD Group for this season of 4×24.
