Chris Christou, a senior vice president at Booz Allen Hamilton and a leader within the company’s Chief Technology Office, has been appointed as chair of Executive Mosaic’s 4×24 5G Group.
The 4×24 leadership program provides a platform for government contracting industry executives to connect and innovate with top federal officials. During 4×24 dinners, members have the opportunity to bring their ideas to the table to help solve the U.S. government’s top mission challenges.
As chair of the 5G Group, Christou will lead discussions considering the importance and implications of 5G in federal operations. Join 4×24 today to jump into the conversation.
“I am excited for the opportunity to chair the 4×24 5G Group. 5G technologies, as well as emergent 6G technologies, are critical to unlocking innovations across the public sector and other critical industries,” Christou said. “I look forward to gaining insights based on the perspectives of the guests who will join us over the coming months.”
Christou has been with Booz Allen for over two decades, beginning as a senior consultant and lead engineer and holding multiple other roles before rising to his current post in April 2022. As head of BrightLabs, he oversees the firm’s portfolio of 5G and NextG offerings and leads the organization’s experimentation with new 5G technologies and use cases. Along with his role at Booz Allen, Christou is a member of the National Spectrum Consortium’s executive committee.
“As we look toward the future of communications, we’re seeing an industry on the cusp of a revolution as 6G steps into the spotlight. This is an area of critical importance to government missions at the enterprise level and at the tactical edge,” said Jim Garrettson, CEO of Executive Mosaic. “Chris Christou is a proven leader in 5G and NextG, and we know his expertise will be foundational to the success of the 5G Group this year. Welcome to the program, Chris!”
